The initiative aims at revitalizing Tripoli handicrafts which are threatened of extinction through a series of ateliers organized by the Junior Shapers and the high-school students benefitting from the JSSP. The first two ateliers took place. One is for sewing basics and designs; the second is for traditional soap making. The final products were handmade burlap and colorful tissue designed with tiny soap shapes used to decorate small pillows and wallets. The youth are currently drafting a sustainability plan through more workshops, online platform and crowdfunding.
